The Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals has just got its new locale, and it is set to be right at our backyard here in Malaysia.
The announcement was made by Andrew Hou, the President of Acer Pan-Asia Pacific Operations, during a press conference where he also answered some questions regarding the upcoming Predator League 2025.
Andrew mentions that the reason as to why Malaysia is the next country to host the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 is not because of personal preferences, but rather decided through voting, similar to the Olympics.
When a country wishes to host the grand finals, they must first raise a hand and deliver the proposal during their quarterly leadership meetings. Once the proposal is presented, the members that are representing their own countries will then put in their votes.
Managing Director of Acer Malaysia Office, Kon Tek Yoong, had also shared a few words regarding what fans can expect for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 being set in Malaysia.
“We hope it will be a grand one. We are giving everybody a wonderful and immersive experience and also, I think [we] should showcase our Malaysian hospitality.”
Tickets are usually sold for events such as these so that players can enjoy the atmosphere of the event. Andrew Hou said that each country has its own format for organising the event, so the country’s decision will be respected.
Even if tickets are not sold, there won’t be a problem as the tournament is organised to develop the gaming scene and make it more visible to a wider audience.
The exact dates as to when Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 will be held as yet to be announced, those interested can head over to the official Predator League website for more information.
