Artery Gear: Fusion is a turn-based strategy game currently open for pre-registrations for mobile devices, developed by China-based Access!. You play as a commander in the “Puppet War”, in charge of a variety of mecha girls utilizing the titular Artery Gear – or AG for short.
As is usual for this genre of games, players will be able to encounter many different styles of mecha girls using the AGs, then put together into a team to fight against the puppets. With both the use of 2D sprites and chibi artstyles, it utilizes 3D and Spine technology for greater graphical fidelity. The game also boasts new lighting technology and particle rendering effects to show off the futuristic style of the setting while giving players a true feast for the eyes.
Currently, pre-registrations for Artery Gear: Fusion are only applicable for its China release, with no mention of a global release at this stage. A closed beta will be on 20 August, randomly selecting 6000 players. Artery Gear: Fusion itself is a sequel to a previous Artery Gear, with the main characters of that game joining the new cast.
No release time frame has been mentioned for the game either, so interested players would need to keep an eye out for updates on that.
