The Arknights and Rainbow Six Siege collaboration – dubbed Originium Dust – is finally coming to global servers, about five months since it was announced for its home server. Details have been provided via the official Twitter.
Originium Dust will last from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 8 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. Event stages will be open in two phases:
- Task Record: 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7
- Para Bellum: 25 August 2021, 16:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7
Tachanka, a 5-star Guard Operator, will be obtainable from the event shop.
The corresponding Headhunting Banner, Attack – Defence – Tactical Collide, will run from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. Featured Operators are:
- 6-star: Sniper Ash
- 5-star: Specialist Frost, Defender Blitz
Ash is guaranteed at least once within 120 rolls.
The log in event will also run from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. Besides a variety of materials, you can get a total of 20 rolls exclusively for use in the Attack – Defence – Tactical Collide Headhunting banner.
Collaboration outfits will be available for purchase from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. Prices are as follows:
- 18 OP: Liskarm, Ash, Schwarz
- 15 OP: Tachanka
These limited time packs will also be available to purchase from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. These will provide a variety of upgrade materials, with the more expensive packs offering Headhunting Permits and Originite Prime.
The Special Equipment Exhibition Room is the new furniture set available with the event, obtainable from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7.
The Walter Interior Sensations furniture set will be added as a Lucky Drop from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7. This will replace the Rhodes Island HR Office furniture drops.
Players will be able to redeem a free ID Reset Card to change their in-game nickname from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 October 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. You’ll be able to purchase more at a later date. Note that changing your in-game nickname will also change the digits attached to your name.
Last but not least is the Defence Protocols game mode, running from 18 August 2021, 10:00 UTC -7 to 1 September 2021, 03:59 UTC -7. You can randomly match, invite or join another player in a co-op session across a variety of two-tiered maps. 2X speed will not be available in this mode, and watch out for ping.
The collaboration event can be considered a “true limited” one, as it’s too soon since its original CN run to tell if it’ll ever be rerun, so don’t miss out.
