Arknights Global confirmed for 16 January launch

Arknights Global is finally confirmed for a 16 January 2020 launch! The game’s closed beta test concluded 3 January, with an open beta supposedly coming soon, but it looks like it’s going straight to release. The date was given in the game’s official animation trailer, that you can see below!

Additionally, the Arknights Global Twitter also announced that the game reached 1,000,000 pre-registrations across the English, Japanese and Korean servers! Additional rewards have been unlocked, such as:

• Operator Exchange Voucher
• New Operators’ Resource Pack
  • LMD x 2000, Drill Battle Record x 10, Skill Summary – 1 x 5
• Beginner’s Supply
  • Orundum x 3800

This is on top of the previously achieved pre-registration milestones which include rewards such as:

• 10,000: Lungmen Dollar x 29,997
• 20,000: Headhunting Permit x 3
• 30,000: Recruitment Permit x 9
• 50,000: Expedited Plan x 15
• 70,000: Limited Operator, Savage
• 100,000: Originite Prime x 8, Commemorative Furniture x 1

For those unaware about the game, Arknights is dubbed a tower defense game developed by Hypergryph. Your player character is called “Doctor”, and you control units called Operators. They naturally have their various roles and you place them on a grid in battle.

We’ll see you other Doctors once the Arknights Global servers launch! It will be officially available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and European countries.
