Arknights has announced an official PC version to the mobile game during its CN sixth anniversary livestream. This announcement has been highly requested by the community for quite some time, and now Hypergryph has finally delivered.
Arknights is set in Terra, a dystopian world resembling a futuristic Earth, but inhabited by Ancients, people with animal traits. Terra is ravaged by recurring Catastrophes, forcing its inhabitants to live in mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal used for energy and magic-like Originium Arts. However, Originium exposure causes Oripathy, a terminal disease that, while not highly contagious until death, has become a widespread pandemic. Those afflicted, called the Infected, face severe discrimination and oppression across Terra.

What makes the game stand out the most is by blending elements of tactical RPGs and tower defense games, a mix that has fueled its growing popularity in both mainland China and globally after its international launch. Although it incorporates gacha mechanics, Arknights is often regarded as one of the more player-friendly games in the genre. It is primarily a single-player experience, though it also features a limited cooperative system that allows some interaction between players.
For the global version, there is still no official news on a PC release via Steam or the Epic Games Store, but a live page is available through Google Play Games for Windows users.
Arknights is currently available on iOS and Android. Visit the official website to learn more about the game and receive further updates.
