Arknights, audio-technica headset pre-orders in November

The prices and closer look at the audio-technica and Arknights collaboration headset has been revealed, with pre-orders starting 4 November. This audio-technica and Arknights collab was actually announced at least a year ago, so it’s been some time coming.

The headset model number is ATH-WS660BT-ARK, presumably the special edition of the regular ATH-WS660BT. You can pre-order it at 900 Chinese Yuan (~ USD 140), with a slight discount at 810 Chinese Yuan (~ USD 127) on 11 November for a limited time. You may find the regular ATH-WS660BT at ~ USD 86 instead on storefronts like Amazon.

The official weibo post can be found here, and does not immediately indicate its availability through an online storefront. The headset is emblazoned with both the Rhodes Island logo and audio-technica’s with gold highlights, and can be used either wireless or wired. It also comes with an illustration featuring Rosmontis and Amiya, though the box itself looks pretty ordinary, besides its embellishments.

For fellow “doctors” who wish to obtain this headset for themselves, expect to find a proxy to get this shipped to you as per usual. It might be a little unusual to not find this available on an online storefront unlike other Arknights merchandise collaborations such as its clothing lines, but perhaps the price and relatively niche target audience justifies that decision.
