The previously announced Arknights concert, Ambience Synesthesia 2022, has been announced to be going live globally. Ambience Synesthesia even has its own official Twitter account now, with the notice for the 2022 leg here. Check out the Spotlight Announcement trailer below:
Ambience Synesthesia is a live performance featuring the original music of the Arknights universe. Enjoy the show with Doctors from around the world!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Ambience Synesthesia performance will be going live across the globe. COMING IN OCTOBER! #AmbienceSynesthesia2022 #SPOTLIGHTCINEMATIC
As the tweet says, the performance will be going live globally in October, with more details to be coming soon. This is unlike the previous run where it was China only, with fans being able to watch the performances if they had a paid Bilibili subscription. Starset’s performance at 2021’s concert was also region-locked even when international fans were able to obtain subscriptions to the platform.
Reed’s, Tequila’s and Mudrock’s outfits designed for the concert have already been made available as purchasable skins, which was apparently meant to be the plan for last year’s concert as well. At time of writing, pretty much most of them have yet to be obtainable.
We will have to find out if the concert will require a Youtube Premium subscription similarly to how it worked for Bilibili, or if the first concert will be made available through alternative platforms too.
