Remember the game where your character can eat its own poop to satisfy its hunger and fight off dinosaurs in order to survive? The game is ARK: Survival Evolved which is available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam) will also be coming to mobile! Studio Wildcard launched their official site and announced that the game will be coming to both iOS and Android devices.
Check out their official mobile trailer below:
The massive multiplayer survival game that was published by Studio Wildcard had signed with mobile developer War Drum Studios to port the PC version onto mobile. The game on mobile will be free-to-play and features all there is based on the PC version. Players will be able to play the game on-the-go provided with a good internet connection.
Just like the PC version, ARK Mobile will feature gigantic islands to explore, over 80 dinosaurs and other primeval creatures to tame and train, multiplayer tribes to socialize with and crafting and building.
Below are the key features from the official site:
- 80+ Dinosaurs: Use cunning strategy and tactics to tame, train, ride and breed the many dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the dynamic, persistent ecosystems across land, sea, air, and even underground.
- Discover: Unearth rare blueprints and Explorer Notes written by previous human denizens of the ARK from across the millennia, detailing the mysterious island’s creatures and backstory.
- Craft and Build: Using any means necessary – survive, craft weapons, clothes, and items, and build shelters, villages, or even large cities. Plant, Harvest, Build, Level-Up, and Customize everything visually and functionally, including procedurally-generated RPG statistics for creatures, characters, resources, clothing, gear, and weapons, both primitive and modern.
- Play Alone or Team Up to Survive: Team up with, or prey on, up to 50 other players in a large-scale multiplayer online first-person environment, or choose single player mode to test alone your mettle against the dinos.
- Join a Tribe: The ‘Tribe’ system encourages cooperation, by supporting dynamic parties to share resources, XP, and re-spawn points.
Players can also pre-register now on their official site. There’s also a statement there which teases players of an exclusive reward. Probably the Ankylosaur which was displayed there? Oh and there’s also a Beta test which players can sign up now by filling the form!
