If you couldn’t manage to get yourself a seat in the previous Arena of Valor closed beta on Nintendo Switch, we have a good news for you! The popular PvP MOBA will be officially launching on the Switch in September, and there will be a global server so everyone around the world can compete together!
Originally launched on mobile, Arena of Valor was known as Kings of Glory (王者荣耀) in China. It is then localized into the several language and versions to launch in different regions such as South Korea, Thailand, SEA and NA.
In Arena of Valor, you will be able to battle over the classic 3-lane map with the aim to destroy the opponent’s base in real-time. There will be a roster of over 30 heroes to play with (including DC heroes), each with their unique abilities and skills.
The Switch version will feature enhanced graphics as well as Joystick controls (of course). Also, it is featuring an interesting feature called Motion Sensor Hook War Game mode that allows you to play the game (hook opponents) by swinging your Joy-Con.
You can pre-register for the Switch version now for exclusive rewards including a Level 3 Arcana Chest and 100 gems. Players from the mobile version seem to be able to link their accounts’ status to the Switch version too but it is not confirmed yet, so stay tuned!
