The Japanese release for Com2uS Gamevil‘s Arcana Tactics will be starting its closed beta on 9:00 JST, 22 January to 29 January. The first 10,000 people who sign up through iOS’ TestFlight will be able to participate, while Android players need only to download it via the Google Play Store.
Developed by Tikitaka Studio, the game is something like a blend of tower defense and auto chess, fusing characters together to form new ones and defeating enemies on the opposing 3 by 3 grid. Com2uS had acquired the studio which was founded in 2019, Arcana Tactics being their sole game for now. With the pending Japan release with the closed beta, Arcana Tactics should hopefully also head to English speaking territories. The game is already out in its home country of South Korea.
The minimum recommended specifications for the game are given as follows:
- iOS: OS 10.0 or higher / iPhone 6S or higher
- Android: Android 4.4 or higher / 2GB RAM or higher
If you try out the closed beta, in-app purchases will not be available and data will be wiped.
The game doesn’t have an official website just yet besides the special portal for the closed beta, but you can keep up to date via the official Twitter here.
