Arc System Works has announced a Rollback Retrofit sale, allowing fans to buy their back catalogue that has been recently updated to have rollback netcode.
The sale covers previous titles receiving rollback netcode, such as Blazblue Cross Tag Battle as well as Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R.
On top of that, the sale also features Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, whose beta for rollback netcode implementation starts today.
They even took the time to clean up the prior mess of buying the title, letting you buy it as Xrd Rev 2 instead of having to buy Xrd Revelator and buy the “Rev 2 DLC” separately.
That being said, the bundle is noticeably missing Blazblue CentralFiction, which also received the rollback update.
The discounts aren’t shallow, either, with Rev 2 being as low as 50% off (RM 28) while Plus R is a whopping 80% off at RM 6.20.
Arc System Works have even provided the Rollback Retrofit Bundle, letting you buy all the games together for RM88.
This is a great step forward for Arc System Works, who have spent the past 2 years embracing the once-controversial rollback netcode by updating their library to support it.
Fan demand had even brought the feature to one of their licensed titles, with Dragon Ball FighterZ also getting the netcode update in future as announced at EVO.
