April PS5 pre-order opens in Malaysia

It’s the month of April and Ramadhan here in Malaysia, and Sony is dropping another batch of PS5 consoles for gamers to pre-order. Once again, those in Malaysia who are keen on testing their luck to get an elusive PS5 will have to fill in the April 2022 “registration of interest” pre-order form.

The announcement was made on Sony Centre Mid Valley Megamall Facebook page. It reads:

ATTENTION PLEASE!
The Pre-Order for PS5 Consoles is now back again for the month of APRIL! Register your interest right away at the google form that is prepared!
For customers & gamers who are interested, kindly fill up the PS5 interest form as prepared below.

FYI, Registration of interest ends (Saturday) 9 April 2022, 2 pm.

Like always, filling up the form doesn’t mean you’ll be guaranteed to get a PS5. Sony Malaysia is the one who’ll decide who’ll be walking away with the elusive console. At the very least, this method alleviates the issue of bots and scalpers buying out all the PS5s immediately.

The form includes new PS5 releases such as Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin for gamers to add on alongside their PS5, if they’re lucky enough to get one in the first place. May RNG be on your side as we wish you the best of luck with your pre-orders!
