Apple Arcade Gets 3 New Games for August, Updates Coming for Sonic Racing and Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Apple Arcade will be getting 3 new games this August, they are Temple Run: Legends, Vampire Survivors+ and Apple Vision Pro spatial title Castle Crumble.

Temple Run: Legends will be making it debut as a level-based runner in the hit franchise and it will only be an Apple Arcade exclusive. The BAFTA award-winning Vampire Survivors+ is also coming to the service, offering up to four-player gameplay on a single device. Both games will be available to download on August 1, 2024.

Starting August 29, players with Apple Vision Pro can demolish fantastical castles with just a swish and flick of their fingers in any physical space they choose in the spatial version of the acclaimed physics-based puzzle game, Castle Crumble. This game joins a growing collection of engaging spatial titles that merge digital content with the physical world, providing an immersive experience unique to Vision Pro.

In addition to the new games releasing in August, Apple Arcade will be updating pre-existing games in July: Sonic Racing and Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Starting from July 18 onwards, players can unlock Rockstar Rouge in Sonic Racing after beating the base time in time trial mode. Additionally, this update introduces enhanced kart power levels, enabling players to access more powerful karts as they advance through the game.

As for Hello Kitty Island Adventure, the Friendship Festival marks both the International Day of Friendship and the one-year anniversary of the game’s debut on Apple Arcade. This event features new Sanrio-themed outfits, group animations, and plenty of opportunities for memorable snapshots. The update also includes an exciting music collaboration and concludes the Friendship Island story arc with a climactic finale. This update will go live on July 25, 2024.
