Apple has announced the Apple Arcade, the first ever game subscription service in the world. The game subscription will feature over 100 new and exclusive games, including original releases from Hironobu Sakaguchi, Ken Wong, Will Wright and dozens more. What’s more are the all-you-can-play games in one subscription, no ads, any additional charges and playable offline.
Besides handpicking a game line-up for the Apple Arcade, Apple will also be contributing to the development costs. That will in turn give game developers the freedom to come out with interesting ideas and to bring their games to life in this creative platform. Also, the service will feature games from Annapurna Interactive, Bossa Studios, Cartoon Network, Finji Giant Squid, Klei Entertainment, Konami, LEGO, Mistwalker Corporation, SEGA, Snowman, ustwo games and dozens more.
