Apparently the Sonic’s live-action movie design is so bad that character redesign is happening

If you have being around the Internet, you might have come across Sonic’s live-action movie trailer. Honestly, it ain’t a pretty sight to those who grew up watching Sonic The Hedgehog, such as me.

Since then, the movie trailer has sparked an outrage among moviegoers and Sonic fans, criticism regarding Sonic’s design was all over the Internet. Eventually, dissatisfied fans began to make memes out of it and some even re-edit the trailer in an attempt to make it better.

Even the original creator of Sonic The Hedgehog gave his concern on Twitter saying: “So far, various Sonics have appeared. I loved all Sonics. I saw a trailer of Sonic’s movie. I was expecting adults to have fun too. I am worried.”

Then, something miraculous happened yesterday as Sonic’s fans prayers were heard. Director Jeff Fowler stepped in and assured distressed fans that they will be redesigning Sonic to make it the best he can be.

Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast 🔧✌️

All in all, that means we’ll be getting a new Sonic and I hope this time they will make it right and not ruined most of our childhood. Well, I have to say that Internet is indeed powerful and thanks to the community, there’s a chance for a Sonic makeover.
