7DS / Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross will apparently have a collaboration event with Stranger Things ahead of the Japan and Korea livestream. The poster below has been circulating, from which you can draw your own conclusions:
The lack of Japanese or Korean text makes one wonder if this would really be the collab revealed on stream, or it’ll be released on the global servers simultaneously, or exclusively. Twitter user 7dsLeaks posted the initial image and resources that you might have noticed on Reddit and the Netmarble forum.
For the unfamiliar, Stranger Things is an American science fiction horror thriller series released on Netflix, having premiered in 2016. Supernatural events occur in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, with events kicking off with the investigation of a young boy’s disappearance amid those events. Three seasons have been released so far, with the fourth season renewed in 2019.
It’s probably quite the oddity to have Stranger Things collab with 7DS of all things, perhaps the most commonality being the supernatural elements in both series. The former is also a live action series rather than an anime/manga property, and they’ve been adapted into the art style going by the poster.
If you’re interested, you will be able to find the Japanese stream here for the latest information before the year ends. Be sure to tune in and find out!
