Antique Carnevale is a competitive intellect game, now available on PC and mobile

Last week we reported about a new game from Square Enix with an unknown genre as well as unknown release platform, namely Antique Carnevale. Now it is available on PC and mobile via Yahoo! Game Plus service. If you wonder what is the game all about, check out the new trailer below before we move on further:

The game is actually a competitive chess-like browser game that combines RPG, Chess and Reversi elements with command-based battles. The main goal of the game is to capture the opponent’s king by using pieces come in three elements (which forms a combat triangle system). You can summon beasts (unlock by clearing quests) that every of them come with a respective number of turns and a unique ability.

Other than just battling all the way, you can also collect all kinds of pieces to form your very own dream team. There will be a live function too, so you could play face-to-face against your opponent using your PC or smartphone camera.

Antique Carnevale is available in Japanese with no news on English version yet. If you are eagerly wanting to play the game, you can try to get the game from Yahoo! Japan (link below).
