Another Eden has just released, and with minimal tutorials available in-game, beginners may find difficulty in grasping some gameplay aspects. Here are some Another Eden beginner tips to get you up and running. Be sure to check out our first impressions on the game too if you haven’t!
Questing on the side
Given the nature of this game as a single-player experience, there are tonnes of side quests that needs completion. To get these quests, simply explore the map for NPCs for them. As quite a number of these tasks require you to venture out of town and engage in fights, be sure to be in tip-top shape all the time. Drop by the town inn and rest in order to restore your party’s health and mana. Side quests are also a good source of earning Chronos Stones as well, which you will need to gacha.
Buddy system
As you start the game for the time, you are given a ticket to pick one four-star ally for free. For the most part, you can just go with anyone who catches your fancy. However, if you are unable to decide, consider getting Ciel. She is a support character that grants various bonuses that will be useful to the party later in the game.
Skilling fields
Whenever you level up, you are granted one ability point which you can spend to improve your character. Although you will end up learning everything anyway, you will have to decide early on how you want to approach it.
Life is a grind
As with all RPGs, grinding is the name of the game. With the game being generous in letting you clear it without the need for overpowered characters, it does mean that the fights will get much tougher to compensate. That said all the hard work put in to level up on your part will pay off sooner than later, so get to work.
Nooks and crannies
When exploring the game world, keep an eye for hidden items. Fortunately they sparkle in a rather obvious fashion so be sure to pick them up. These range from ingredients to money, both of which are very helpful in the short and long run.
