Ubisoft’s city builder Anno 1800 is getting new DLC. The Land Of The Lions is included as part of the Season 2 Pass for the city-building game on PC.
Land of The Lions will see players go to the East-African-inspired city of Enbesa. There, they’ll enter the service of Emperor Ketema, and be placed in charge of the capital of Enbesa.
One of the coolest additions in Land of the Lions is the game’s new irrigation system. This will have players have to consider things like the arid weather of Enbesa. Mastering how this system works will be key to building your city.
It’s not all building and irrigation though. According to Ubisoft you’ll also have to fend off foreign influence on the city as well.
The DLC will also add “2 new citizen tiers in Enbesa, 1 new citizen tier in the Old World, new production chains such as Hibiscus tea and telephones, 90 new buildings, , 3 quests islands, 134 new items and much more”.
The DLC will also release alongside Update 9, which will be free to all owners of Anno 1800. This update will add a variety of quality-of-life features for the game, such as improving trade route menus. Additionally, the developers are also adding the ability to select destination harbors for ships that travel between sessions.
