Japanese visual novel studio Key, famously known for their works such as Kanon and Clannad, has revealed their next big title named anemoi.
Revealed on the official Visual Arts publisher website, anemoi will be a full-price romance visual novel by Key.
Aside from a teaser trailer, many of the game’s details have yet to be divulged, including what platform the title will be available on, as well as the release date.
However, details will be unveiled soon as alongside the teaser trailer, a livestream was scheduled for 17 November 2023, starting at 7 PM to 8 PM JST, where the developers will be giving fans a brief overview of the story and other information.
While many details of anemoi are in a blur right now, some of the staff members from Key responsible for bringing the title to life have been revealed.
Kai, known for his contribution to writing Clannad, Air, Angel Beats, Kud Wafter, and other notable titles, will be handling directing duties for anemoi as well as writing the scenarios.
Alongside Kai, Yuu Niijima, Hasama, and Shun Sayuki will also be joining in on writing duties, while Touya Okano serves as the game’s producer.
For the game’s soundtrack, the composer of Kanon, Air, and Clannad, Shinji Orito will be taking the helm as the music producer.
As for visuals, Na-Ga, Humuyun, Yuunon Nagayama, and Ao Kimishima will be handling key animations.
As mentioned previously, the release date and platforms for anemoi have not been revealed yet, however, an announcement stream is scheduled to go live on 17 November 2023, starting at 7 PM to 8 PM JST to unveil more information.
