Today, the official twitter account for the game Among Us has released a teaser tweet showcasing a set of silhouettes to a set of characters which share striking resemblances to the popular Hololive vtubers which hints a possible collaboration with them.

Update (19th September): Both the Global and Japanese official Hololive twitter accounts have confirmed the collaboration between Hololive and Among Us and players will be able to get in-game cosmetics of your favourite Hololive Vtubers. The collaboration event will start 20th September PST / 21st JST.

Developers Innersloth Game’s hit game about finding a traitor hiding amidst crew mates – Among Us had its popularity grown as one of the go to party games to play with friends and family. And with how much traction that the game gets as well as where Hololive members had various of streams where they would play the game with one another, the collaboration doesn’t seem too farfetched.
While it’s not concrete, we are able to see some of the the outlines to the teased characters and how it shares similarities to some of the talents from Hololive. The characters shown are most likely to be Moona Hoshinova, Ookami Mio, Inugami Korone, Shirakami Fubuki, Amelia Watson, Houshou Marine, Gawr Gura, Ayunda Risu, Usada Pekora and lastly Nekomata Okayu in that order.
The collaboration event will most likely add in the vtubers as an in game skin where players can rep their favourite Hololive member while they go around and kill one another.
Aside from the teaser image, not much information was revealed in the tweet, so we can only patiently wait for more news regarding the collaboration event.
