Earlier today, Among Us developer Innersloth revealed a roadmap for the game during the Summer Game Fest: Kickoff live stream.
You can watch the video on Innersloth’s YouTube channel here:
Kicking off these new updates in no particular order is the Hide & Seek mode. It seems to be exactly as you’d expect, with the Imposter (who has low visibility) hunting down the Crewmates who try their best to hide. Hide & Seek is a community mod, so it is nice to see Innersloth taking popular mods and implementing them as part of the core game.
Similarly, there will also be new roles such as Sheriff and Scientist, another case of community mods that will be part of the game. For those who are unfamiliar, the Sheriff can even kill Imposters! However, players will have to wait and see how these roles will be playable in the game.
In addition, we also had a look at new colors and skins. The video teased colors and skins such as coral, tan, rose, banana, gray. Players can also expect new visor cosmetics.
Furthermore, achievements will also be part of the game in the future. Lastly, a new map was also teased. Note that these roadmap updates revealed in the video will be implemented into Among Us in no particular order.
