Innersloth, developer of Among Us, has just announced that the game will be getting a major update in the form of new localisations. Given that the game has exploded in popularity within the streaming circuit, it a rather timely addition.
Among Us first made its debut in 2018, and has seen itself grow into quite the phenomenon thanks to social media and streamers everywhere. With that in mind, the game is getting an official Japanese localisation, alongside the likes of French, Italian, German, Spanish EU and LA, Dutch, Russian, BR and EU Portuguese, Korean and FIlipino. The developer has also promised more languages but did not disclose what and when. Furthermore, InnerSloth also teased the inclusion of new map coming to the game, to add to its existing pool of three locations. Without going into great detail, the team at Innersloth is also said to be working on the community aspects of the game to ease reporting of other players to cut down on abuse and hacking in public games.
Second… ? Languages ?
Here’s the task list for us: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish EU and LA, Dutch, Russian, BR and EU Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, FIlipino (Bisaya).
More languages to come, but that’s the focus for now!
