Hololive Vtuber Amelia Watson has released her newest original song ChikuTaku, which comes complete with a playable browser game.
The music video, which released last week, also sported a link to a playable browser version that would be coming soon.
Thankfully, the ChikuTaku game released over the long weekend, letting fans play the simple rhythm game via the Amelia Watson itch.io page.
The game has players controlling Watson, literally interacting with various scenes from the music video, using only one button to either deflect balls, dodge obstacles and take photos- all by clicking to the beat.
It also sports various easter eggs, such as unique animations on the home screen for mousing over the Vtuber, as well as a special screen for if you get a low score.
It’s important to stress this isn’t a fangame- it was released officially by Cover Corporation to promote the music video.
Even Watson herself promoted the free game, playing it on her stream to show off some of the unique features.
Despite primarily dealing in virtual idols, there’s been a surprising amount of progress in the field of Hololive games, ranging from official tie ins like Evil God Korone to fanmade games like HoloCure gaining huge traction in the community.
