As part of its fourth anniversary livestream, Alice Gear Aegis has announced a console game as well as an anime to come. Specific platforms were not specified, and as far as its understood, the console game will only be launching in Japan sometime 2022. The anime is also relatively scant on details, besides a promotional video teaser release.
There are two separate portals for these Alice Gear Aegis projects: one for the console game here, and one for the anime project here. The console game will have elements unique to the platform, whatever form that may take.
Originally a mobile game, the title is a vertical 3D shoot ’em up game, where you’ll be able to control your chosen character and fly around in a 3D space. In fact, the mobile game’s also offering free gacha to celebrate, if you want to jump in and give it a try.
As for the anime, Hanai Hirokazu is named as director, Fumikane Shimada, Ebikawa Kanetake, Yanase Takayuki on the character designs and mech drafts, Okano Rikiya on character design, Sugihara Kenji on series composition with production by Nomad.
The livestream announced other things including merch like figures, collaboration earphones, and an upcoming drama CD. Whether or not this will encourage a worldwide localization is anyone’s guess.
