Puzzle gacha RPG Alice Fiction just has its release date announced. The game will release on 27 July 2022 for Android and iOS devices.
The release date for Alice Fiction was revealed during the live stream on the game’s YouTube channel earlier today. You can watch the full live stream below (the release date announcement starts at 1:21:55 of the video):
Securing over 900,000 pre-registrations (at the time of writing) in over a month, the game will be releasing simultaneously in both Japan and Global. The game is developed and published by WonderPlanet, the developer of Crash Fever.
During the live stream, it was also revealed that besides Nijisanji JP and EN, Takanashi Kiara and Gawr Gura of Hololive EN -Myth- will also be streaming the game. In addition, Gura will also release an English cover of the game’s theme song, “Un-Reality Escape” by FantasticYouth.
Furthermore, Alice Fiction will also have a collab with rhythm game Cytus 2. On 10th August, Cytus 2 players can play a remixed version of Un-Reality Escape for free.
For those who are unaware, Alice Fiction is described as a “high speed puzzle RPG”. While the tile-matching gameplay is reminiscent of games like Tower of Saviors, the battles are presented in a traditional turn-based RPG style, with characters carrying out attacks and activating abilities in view of the player.
