Alchemy Stars Release Date Announced

Tencent Games has announced the release date for Alchemy Stars, their latest tactics-gacha game.

After previously opening pre-registrations for the game, the release date of the global version of Alchemy Stars will be June 17th, 2021.

Unlike many gacha games, Alchemy Stars will have an English release at launch, similar how the previous closed Beta also had English language options right off the bat.

However, as previously reported, US users of the game will be using a separate client compared to the “global” version of the game. Tencent Games haven’t gone into specifics as to why this decision was made.

Alchemy Stars features a grid-based combat system, letting you chain tiles together to gain extra turns via the game’s Aurora Time mechanic. While attacks are done automatically, the game also features a variety of active skills, meaning you’ll have to choose your team wisely if you want your team to win.

On top of that the game features a cast of heroes from 6 different factions, all with their own strengths and weaknesses.
