Looking to be sticking to the Alchemy Stars name, this mysterious mobile game has opened up recruitment for a closed beta test. The official Tweet states sign-ups will be open until 17 March, roughly until 13:00 JST. As you might expect, it’s open for Japan residents only, but you can check out the sign-up page here. 5000 players will be picked in total for both iOS and Android players. The current recommended specifications are:
- iOS: Version 9.0 and above, iPhone 6S and newer
- Android: Version 4.1 and above, no RAM specified
The closed beta portal indicates the testing period for Alchemy Stars will be one week, but does not provide an exact start date. They ask that applicants check out for emails from 18 March.
The Twitter account has been active in posting more art and character introductions, as well what looks to be sneak peeks at the gameplay as well as a teaser trailer to go with the closed beta announcement.
It would appear a party would have five members, each of whom have their respective ranges. There will be map gimmicks you can use, attacks you can chain into combos, and tactical movement on the grids. That’s for the teaser, and with the test coming up, we should find out more about what this game really is soon enough. The game is currently slated for a Summer 2021 release.
