Isekai Fantasy fans rejoice, Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san (The Middle-Aged Man That Reincarnated As a Villainess) will be getting an anime adaptation.
The announcement of the series getting an anime adaptation was revealed via the obi (the strip of paper looped around the manga) of the manga’s sixth volume of the series, which was released on 4th January 2024.

As of time of writing, not much details regarding the production of the Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san anime adaptation nor its release date has been announced, so fans will have to wait a while longer.
Akuyaku Reijo Tensei Oji-san is a comedy isekai manga drawn by Michirou Ueyama and published by Shonengahosha, and has been serialized since March 2020 in the Young King Ours GH seinen manga magazine.
The series’ synopsis is as follows:
After a traffic accident, 52-year-old civil servant Kenzaburou Tondabayashi awakens to find he’s become Grace Auvergne, a duke’s daughter, and more importantly the villainess of an otome game.
Not wanting to get in the way of the happy endings of the young characters around him, Grace sets out to play the role of the villain, but whether it’s due to Kenzaburou’s memories of being an affectionate parent getting in the way of not being able to remember those pesky foreign names properly, it ends up being a lot harder than it looks…
