Afterpulse Winter Warfare Event is live with Shipwreck map offering immersive winter experience

Afterpulse, the competitive multiplayer third-person shooter for mobile has launched their winter update – Winter Warfare Event! The famous Shipwreck map is now featuring 2 new elements, extreme cold and reduced visibility. You will find yourself blinded by a blizzard and facing challenges that will strain your abilities to survive in extreme situations.

In the winter event, you will suffer from hypothermia unless you are capable of finding heat areas to increase your body temperature back to survivable levels. As the visibility in these winter maps is reduced by a dense mist, there will be new thermal vision weapons so you can spot your enemies even through the thickest fog.

Armed with thermal vision weapons and equipped with special Mountain Warfare uniforms, you are given the opportunity to push your strategic and survival skills to the limit! Also, you are encouraged to climb your way up through 8 weekly rankings for the brand new Winter Warfare exclusive seasonal rewards.

Winter is also a time of celebration! For the first time, Afterpulse is featuring a new event based on the Japanese New Year’s tradition: getting a Fookubukuro, or lucky crate. Fookoobukuro (福袋) are crates that contain a variety of random items from the game which will be sold at a discount. It’s a perfect chance to get surprise, suspense and celebration, all in one crate!
