Affogato, A “Reverse Tower Defense” Game That Let’s You Forge Bonds and Serve Drinks Releases Mid August

Affogato, an upcoming anime RPG game that mixes management, visual novel and strategy elements developed by Befun Studio is set to release on 17th August 2023.

Affogato has players step into the shoes of a witch managing her own cafe while she resolves the mysteries that’s happening in the neighbourhood. The game is said to resemble games like the Persona series where players can delve deeper into the stories of your clients and neighbours, as you help them beat their inner demons.

The gameplay loop of Affogato revolves a uniquely designed “reverse tower defense” which mixes in card based combat, while also involving visual novel elements and a drinks brewing simulator.
