Acer Malaysia Will Repair Products Damaged in Floods for Free

This December has seen Malaysia undergo the worst floods in the country’s history since the 1970s, however, Acer Malaysia is hoping to support the Malaysian public with free repairs of electronic goods.

Acer has published a recent press release stating:

“We are saddened by the floods that overwhelmed many parts of Malaysia recently. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected.”

To lend a helping hand, we would like to support the recovery process of those affected. This support is for both our Acer customers and non-Acer customers.”

As such Acer Malaysia is offering to repair all Acer products damaged by the recent floods for free regardless of warranty. This includes out-of-warranty devices. Acer also says they will repair non-Acer devices for an applicable charge.

If your damaged device is beyond repair, they are willing to offer a 20% discount on the purchase of a new laptop/desktop from Acer Malaysia’s Official e-store.

This repair offer from Acer will last until the 31st of March 2022.

If you have an Acer product that has seen any kind of damage as a result of the recent floods, this is a service that is worth taking advantage of. We currently do not know what the charge will be for non-Acer products but it may be worth sending your item in and finding out.
