Acer Malaysia has revealed two new gaming monitors and noteworthy promotions as a way to kick off the upcoming Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 local finals eSports tournaments.
In conjunction with the Predator League 2024 local finals, Acer has specially brought along the first Predator OLED gaming monitors to be showcased during the tournament, as well as hosting promotions and giving away tickets to the eSports tournament.
The Predator League 2024 Malaysia Qualifier Finals are scheduled to happen in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on 30 September 2023 and 1 October 2023, featuring tournaments of competitive titles, Dota 2 and Valorant.
The two newly unveiled Acer gaming monitors are the Predator X27U WQHD OLED Gaming Monitor and the Predator CG48 OLED Gaming Monitor.
Predator X27U WQHD OLED Gaming Monitor
The Acer Predator X27U Gaming Monitor features a 26.5-inch WQHD OLED display with a 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Additionally, the monitor comes with a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.0ms (G to G), and 0.01ms pixel response time with AMD FreeSync Premium technology.
The gaming monitor will also incorporate Delta<1, HDR10 support, and TÜV Rheinland EyeSafe certification, boasting a peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
Furthermore, the X27U monitor also has a built-in KVM switch that allows users to switch devices with ease and an adjustable metal stand that is stable while providing ergonomic angles, as well as the use of USB Type-C PD 90W.
The Predator X27U WQHD OLED Gaming Monitor is available now at Acer concept stores in Malaysia at the price of RM 3,999.
Predator CG48 4K OLED Gaming Monitor
The Predator CG48 Gaming Monitor features a 48-inch 4K display with a 138Hz refresh rate, and up to 0.1 ms response time (G to G) with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology.
The OLED display of the monitor leverages a 135K:1 contrast ratio, HDR10 and 98% coverage of
the DCI-P3 colour gamut, as well as the ability to turn off individual pixels to achieve true blacks.
Furthermore, the monitor is TÜV Rheinland EyeSafe certified, proven to reduce harmful blue lights while maintaining its colour.
Given the size and the support for HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, as well as having 4 USB 3.2 ports and a USB Type-C port, the monitor is suitable for gamers who want a big screen for their consoles.
The Predator CG48 4K OLED Gaming Monitor is available now at Acer concept stores in Malaysia at the price of RM 5,999.
Promotions
Aside from new monitors, Acer is also hosting a promotion of up to 75% flash sales on 30 September 2023, at 12 PM (MYT).

The Grand Finals of Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 is scheduled to take place in the Phillippines on the 13th and 14th of January, 2024.
