A lot of new products were announced during the IFA 2018 Acer conference in Berlin, and there are a few interesting and refreshing ones among the plenty new gaming products. This includes the Predator Thronos Gaming Chair and Predator Triton 900, the convertible 2-in-1 gaming laptop. Check out their details below!
Predator Thronos Gaming Chair
The all-new Predator Thronos reimagines the gaming chair for a new level of gamer. Its steel structure is 1.5 meters tall and comes in menacing dual-tone black with white or blue accents. It puts the gamer in the game through deep impact vibration, where the chair vibrates upon in-game impact.
The chair is adjustable and includes an ergonomic seat design, footrest, and a cabin that reclines up to 140 degrees. The overhead brace supports three 27″ gaming monitors and a space for a Predator gaming PC. Integrated with a Predator PC and triple Predator monitors plus gadgets, the Thronos becomes more than a gaming chair – it’s a gamer’s cave.
Predator Triton 900
The Predator Triton 900 comes with a convertible 4K UHD touchscreen with Nvidia’s G-Sync. Thanks to the CNC-machine hinge, you can flip the display around (or use it like a tablet) according to your preference. It is featuring the latest 4th generation Aeroblade 3D fans, which it offers 10% increased airflow and is more silent than the previous generations. Other than the full mechanical keyboard, it also features a switchable trackpad that you can switch it into number pad anytime.
Predator X
We still didn’t get much information on Predator X, but from all we know now, it is a beast with 2 Intel Xeon processors and up to 12 ECC DIMM slots for RAM.
Acer OJO 500
The Acer OJO 500 is the first Windows Mixed Reality headset and first Virtual Reality headset to feature a detachable design, patented built-in sound pipe technology, and software-assisted interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment technology.
It is available with either a hard head strap or soft washable head strap; each provides a snug yet comfortable fit to keep the headset firmly in place. It also features an integrated audio system focuses sound on the ears, while the patented IPD technology ensures the display is set at the optimal distance from the wearer’s eyes. It is easy to set up with inside-out tracking and 6 degrees of freedom positional tracking too.
