Predator Triton 500 – Top of the Line Performance that Keeps Cool
Powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors for high performance notebooks and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER or 2070 SUPER GPUs with Max-Q Design, expect the Predator Triton 500 to take on the toughest challenges. That power is backed by up to 7.5-hours of battery live for the working professionals who want to play too. The industry-leading 300 Hz IPS panel with 3ms overdrive response time displays all action in smooth and vivid detail, covering 100% of the sRGB colour gamut and wide-angle view support. With NVIDIA G-SYNC, tearing is eliminated and lag minimized.
With Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i wireless controller, E3100G ethernet controller and Control Center 2.0, network connection quality gets pushed to new levels and ensuring speed-critical applications get bandwidth priority. Find all this packed into a thin 17.9mm (0.7 in), lightweight 2.1kg/4.63lb all-metal chassis with narrow bezels and 81% screen-to-body ratio. Get up to 32GB DDR5 memory and 2TB of NVMe, RAID 0 SSD storage.
Vortex Flow: Custom Engineered Cooling Technology
Vortex Flow technology in the Predator Triton 500 is a new design with three custom engineered fans strategically placed in the chassis, working in tandem to increase additional airflow while also reducing noise. It is additionally enhanced with CoolBoost technology that increases fan speed for improved performance. Gamers can monitor temperature and adjust fan speed accordingly with PredatorSense UI.
The innovative cooling system also features an all-metal 4th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan specially designed to maximize airflow and reduce noise. Serrated edges, winglets and a curved fin allow for up to 45% increase in airflow. Adding five heat pipes to the mix, the 2020 Predator Triton 500 ultimately gets 33% better thermal performance than its 2019 counterpart.
Acer Nitro 5
The Acer Nitro 5 also comes with up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor capable of 5 GHz, and graphics options of GeForce RTX 2060 or the latest GeForce GTX 1650i / 1650 GPUs. Packing up to two M.2 PCIe SSDs and 1TB HDD for stage, and up to 32GB DD4R4 RAM in two user-upgradable DIMM slots, there’s plenty of space for your needs. Gamers can definitely appreciate the 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with 144 Hz or 120 Hz refresh rates and 3ms response times for blur-free gameplay on the 72% NTSC, 300-nit panel.
The Acer Nitro 5 has innovative thermal solutions to maximise cooling efficiency even under heavy loads, with its dual-fan cooling system taking advantage of strategically placed intake/exhaust ports and four heat vents for 25% improvement in thermal performance over the 2019 model. Further optimization is in place with CoolBoost teechnology able to increase fan speed by 10% and CPU/GPU cooling by 9%. Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (802.11ax) and Killer Ethernet E2600 is new to this model, for increased network stability and performance.
