Unique Characters in Ace Attorney Investigations Collection
With the unique characters appearing in this title, Franziska von Karma and Ema Skye enter the fray as
familiar faces from the Ace Attorney series, as well as Eustace Winner, who makes his debut in the Ace Attorney Investigations series.
Franziska von Karma
The daughter of Edgeworth’s mentor, Manfred von Karma, Franziska became a prosecutor at the tender age of 13 in Germany and handles all of her cases with a triumphant crack of her whip. So what brings her back into Edgeworth’s orbit now?
Ema Skye
A young lady studying abroad in Europe to fulfill her dream of becoming a forensic investigator, Ema is home on vacation. And even though she’s supposed to be relaxing, she’s still got a test kit or two on her at the ready. She first met Edgeworth on a certain case in the past and has continued to look up to him ever since.
Eustace Winner
A rookie district prosecutor who likes to call himself “The Winner”, Eustace has been assigned to take over all of Edgeworth’s cases. He is obsessed with being the best in all things, and tries to be the first to solve his cases before anyone has a chance to say or do otherwise.
Unique Game Systems for Solving Mysteries
Players control prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, thoroughly investigating crime scenes and collecting information and evidence to uncover the truth behind the cases. Featuring new characters and the new “Mind Chess” gameplay mechanic, this title also expands on the “Little Thief (Crime Scene Re-Creation)” gameplay mechanic introduced in the first entry.
Little Thief (Crime Scene Re-Creation)
At times, circumstances might make it difficult to directly investigate certain aspects of an incident. That’s when Kay’s handy simulation device “Little Thief” comes into play.
By inputting what you know into Little Thief, the gadget is able to re-create the scene as it was at the time of the crime. Interact with the re-creation to continue the investigation and gather new information!
Mind Chess
Convince stubborn opponents to open up through a game of mental chess! In the course of an investigation, you’ll come across people who will refuse to cooperate. Play the best moves you can in a race against the clock to extract the info you need.
Mind Chess requires that you think fast and make decisive plays in real time as you probe your opponent for answers. Keep an eye on your opponent’s words and expressions as you question them. Any subtle shift could spell something big for you and the case.
The Ace Attorney Investigations special set, previously exclusive to e-Capcom in Japan, is now available for pre-order in Asia! This amazing set (Nintendo Switch ver.) includes:
