Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia’s new fishing party game Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits is now available for purchase today on the Nintendo Switch.
Alongside the release, a new launch trailer has been released:
The game revolves around Marine Medal Mania, an aquarium-themed amusement park. It is a sequel to Ace Angler, which was released for the Switch back in 2019. This in turn was based on the popular Ace Angler Arcade fishing game.
Apart from being able to play said famous arcade game in the comfort of your home in Medal Mode, the title also includes a wide array of other fun features. The main story sees the player attempt to clean the world’s oceans for a sustainable future, you can play aquatic-themed medal pusher games, enjoy multiplayer games like Gator Panic and Goldfish Scooping in Party Mode, and even wage online battles for the first time in the series.
Collect Medals in each of these games and aim to complete your aquarium by gathering over 250 types of fish that are available in the title. Visitors can also use the fish observation camera to check information on the fish and watch them swim.
The latest version of the game allows players to transfer over their save data from the previous game, the Nintendo Switch version of Ace Angler. Players are able to continue their progress from the previous medal mode, allowing them to immediately enjoy the new elements of the game.
