Recently on the 13th May, the Sony’s PlayStation League Asia 2018 for FIFA 18 was held at the Battle Arena. Players who qualified as the best in Asia were there and we have our very own Malaysian player, Muhamad Luqman Haziq Hajiman, who is the only sole Malaysian player qualified for the league. The FIFA 18 PlayStation League Asia tournament was to be held on the 13th May which will award the champion $10,000 USD and a ticket to Amsterdam to compete further in the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018.

However Luqman ‘GB.Fenrir’ Haziq was defeated by Jay ‘Shing’ Cheung from Hong Kong in the Quarter Finals on Sunday. Their game was intense as it was brought to over time and even a penalty tie breaker which Shing won with a 3-2. In the second game, Shing managed to score the first goal which gave him a lead but GB.Fenrir managed to tie 2-2 in the first half. Sadly, in the second half, Shing lead the game again with a 3-2 and won the match when the time ran out.
Despite the loss, Fenrir did not lose his spirit and hopes to come back again next year as a better and stronger player. It was a pleasure to have met him at Battle Arena before his tournament and interviewed him.
At the end of the tournament, Ega ‘Eggsy_UG’ Rahmaditya, from Indonesia won the championship title and qualify to play in Amsterdam! Eggsy is the youngest player (18 years old) in the tournament and also the youngest player to qualify for the PlayStation League Asia 2018.
