Ubisoft announces the addition of an entirely new and unique layer of strategy to its auto-battler, Might & Magic: Chess Royale, in the form of Heroes leading the players’ armies into battle. 14 iconic Heroes from the Might & Magic universe join the fight, bringing their active and passive buffs to units who serve under them, capable of significantly influencing the flow of any battle. Enjoy an additional level of depth to your quick-fire matches with these Heroes!
Heroes are powerful leaders introducing a ground breaking feature into the auto-battler genre. Create a team of three Heroes to rally your forces into battle before combat. Each of them possess a range of unique active and passive abilities, as well as a battle power they can deploy to turn the tide. Catherine is among the roster of Heroes, whose Seraph Unit can appear on the battlefield should her army’s health drops too low, along with Gelu, a Hero who shoots a devastating salvo of arrows into unfortunate targets. For an added twist, only one Hero can be active at any time, and players cannot move on to the next character until they lose a battle.
Heroes are the most significant update to Might & Magic Chess Royale, but the game has already received many regular balances and content additions since its launch. Additions include new Units like the hulking, high DPS Behemoth, and new Synergies like the Colossus class that can provide massive health buffs to other combatants. These stream of updates, from new units, to cosmetic upgrades, Spells, Leagues and other features, ensure the game’s meta stays fresh for players.
Might & Magic: Chess Royale is available for free on Uplay and the Epic Store for PC, iOS and Android. All 14 Heroes will be unlockable and upgradable via in-game chests, acquired through play or in-game purchases.
