A new Crysis game, in whatever form, just may be coming soon. All we have to go on now is simply “RECEIVING DATA”, posted on the game’s social media platforms.
RECEIVING DATA
— Crysis (@Crysis) April 13, 2020
The series of games, developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts, saw its first release on 13 November 2007, with Crysis 3 seeing release way back in 19 February 2013. Since then, it hasn’t exactly been the most active property. The original games have been hailed as some of the most graphically amazing titles of its time. Of course, with only two words to go on, we don’t know what form a possible new Crysis game would take.
Would you be hoping for a sequel, or for a remaster? It’s been seven years since anything new, after all, so a completely new title might revive it for a new age. The Crysis website has a fancy image of maybe Nomad, and nothing else.
At this rate, this whole hunt is going to see a lot of speculations until they release more information, let’s all stay tuned to find out, shall we? The Intel 10th gen chips and more have been recently released, so we might have powerful enough machines to run the next Crysis games.
