Netease Games‘ doomsday survival game, LifeAfter, released its new St Rona map on 28 May, and a new chapter is beginning. Faced with disaster, survivors united to secure their homes, not without a grueling fight. Read on about their journey through the crisis!
Survivors had to make decisions, and pay for it after. To stabilize the volcano, the Federation had decided to use the 24-hour cooling period to drop stabilizers into its crater. Brave front-line responders embarked on this most dangerous mission, the hope of humanity on their shoulders, with the support party moving supplies and setting up temporary medical stations to aid the wounded.
However, the volcano erupted, with lava spewing across the land. Areas had to be reluctantly abandoned and tactics changed to building a wall to defend the city threatened by encroaching lava. Despite falling volcanic rocks, raging fires, and attack from the burning Infected, the survivors never retreated.
The first wall collapsed, the flowing lava damaging all other already built walls. The Federation swiftly worked to build a new barrier, with all survivors contributing all the steel they had to fight back against the burning Infected and nature itself. This second wall successfully held back the lava, and the survivors have hope once more.
St Rona opens a new chapter in LifeAfter, as the challenges aren’t over yet. Fires will still need to be put out, refugees to be rescued, falling rocks to be dodged and crumbling walls to smash. Special Infected and more lurk in the shadows to pounce on unsuspecting survivors.
At least for now, the base is safe and humanity can continue to press on for a brighter tomorrow. Save the world, with the world!
A blizzard of devastating virus beleaguered the world, bringing about the catastrophic disintegration of orders and covenants.
LifeAfter, a mobile game depicting the survival of humanity in a post virus apocalyptic world, is officially launched.
Live on, together.
