So, you might have heard that Monster Hunter: World will be coming to PC this coming 10th August, 2018 via Steam. But Capcom is not done announcing news about their Monster Hunter franchises. Apparently, Capcom is collaborating with Pure Imagination Studios to make a 3D animated special based off the Monster Hunter game series which they call it, Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild.
Based on a press release, “The 3D animated special, dubbed Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild, tells the story of a brave young man determined to prove himself as a monster hunter worthy of recognition. His chance will come all too soon when he discovers that his remote village lies in the path of an Elder Dragon—a veritable force of nature made flesh.”
That pretty much sums it up – of a boy who aims to be the Hokage and is out to save his village and proved to be Hokage worthy….. Not to point out of its cliche but it is. However, we’ll see how the animation will turn out when it is premiered globally somewhere in 2019. Of course, this isn’t the only Monster Hunter movie that you guys want to watch out for. There’s also a live-action Monster Hunter movie in the making starring Milla Jovovich if you recall. So if 3D special came out to be a failure, at least Capcom still has the live-action movie to redeem themselves – I hope…
