At the start of the game, you will need to go through some form of tutorial. A female NPC which you can see in the screenshot below will appear and you will need to tap on her. Once you interact with the NPC, she will offer you a quest which require you to kill some Porings (the cute little pink blob). She will heal you and as well when you are close enough in her range. So no worries if you take on too many in the early stage.
Before you can start doing your Main Quests, you will have to follow through the tutorial quests. Just follow the NPCs that have a Yellow Quest Marker and they will provide you a quest with a great amount of EXP, Zeny, Items and others. The Main Quests usually provide you with really good rewards so it is wise to prioritize them first above other quests.
Of course aside from the Main Quests, there are also Sub Quests which are seen on NPCs with a Green Marker on top of them. However you will only be able to accept the Sub Quests once your character hits level 5. You will also notice the Sub Quests with a green exclamation mark on your minimap. So just refer to your map if you are looking for quests.
Ragnarok Online Mobile has a feature called the “Auto-Path System” where your character will move towards the quest location with just a tap on the map. This will really help you a lot as the map is pretty huge. The feature will only be available to you once you have completed the tutorial quest. Once done, whenever you accept a quest which requires you to go to a certain location on monster hunting, just tap on the minimap and the Auto-Path window will open up.
When you have accepted a number of other quests in town before you venture out, the quest tracker will show you the target location on the mini map for your first quest. However if you killed a monster which is required in another quest you have accepted, it will automatically track the current quest you are doing which will show in your minimap.
Once you have reached your character level of 5, a female knight NPC will give you your first main quest which requires you to allocate your stat points. You can put your stats in any way you like as you will gain a FREE Stat Reset after you have completed your first Job Change Quest.
First Head Gear: The female Knight will also provide you with a quest that will reward you your first Head Gear.
Here you will be able to choose between two head gears. The first choice is the Poring Hat while the second is the Egg Shell Hat.

The head gears you received are blueprints. You will need to craft the head gear which contains the first designs you chose along with the materials needed. You can also obtain various blueprints from quest rewards, monster drops or from the Head Gear Blueprint NPC that sells them. Once you have the required materials, go ahead and craft it.
Tap on the headgear blueprint and tap on the button which will bring up the window that shows the materials needed for crafting it.
One of the interesting features of this game is that it is easy to acquire the crafting materials. Instead of hunting and looking for the monsters that drops the materials, you can just tap on the craft button and it will start to auto-path and lead you to the nearest location that drops the materials.

Once you have acquired all the materials, just tap the button to craft it.

Camera System Guide: This is the tutorial quest for the Camera System. The quest will require you to take a photo of the portal that leads to Izlude City. Just tap on the Camera button and snap a picture of it.
Of course, when taking a picture, you will need to position yourself and make sure that the picture you want to take is within the box. You can also zoom in or out to get a better picture of the scene you want.
However, you will have to make sure that the camera icon is green. Once you have take the picture, it will be recorded and saved in your Adventure Book under the Scenery Collection. As explained before in our previous article, for completing the tasks in the Adventure Book will reward you with some EXP and a separate Adventure Skill Points.
Here are some of the features in the camera settings button which allows you to hide the other UIs so that it will not bother your picture taking:
