Last week, we were invited to the God of War preview event by SIES (Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch) in Singapore which gets us a closer look at the PS4 Pro God of War Limited Edition Console and the God of War Collector’s Edition along with an interview with the Senior Community Strategist from Santa Monica Studio, Aaron Kaufman! We were also greeted with a whole bunch of God of War props and display arts and an exclusive 1 hour game preview which we were given the chance to play it.
Check out the preview event video below:
However more importantly, our interview with Aaron Kaufman has revealed a number of things that we would like to share. With the experience and information that we’ve gained from the interview and the short 1 hour play of the game, we’d also like to tell you guys what and how we felt about the game. But before we proceed any further about that, let us take you through with the contents that you guys will get from the God of War Collector’s Edition.
At the premise, we were greeted with a 9″ Kratos and Atreus Statue and a 2″ Huldra Brothers figurine (the two figurines you saw from the E3 trailer). The details on the statues were exquisite that brings out the character’s clothing, weapons and expression from the game. Aside from that, those who are from the SEA region (South East Asia) will get an exclusive Ash Pouch and GoW necklace included in the Collector’s Edition! There’s also a cloth map that’s based from the God of War game itself which was not revealed to us because of spoiler reasons. It’s also because the map actually reveals and includes all nine Nordic regions.
During the preview event, they have also announced the prices for the PS4 Pro God of War Limited Edition Console which is at RM 1,999/ SGD 669, while the God of War Collector’s Edition will be priced at RM 549/ SGD 184.90. If you’re looking to get just the game, the physical version will be at RM 229/ SGD 72.90 and the digital version at RM 209/ SGD 64.90.
God of War will be launched on the PS4 on the 20th April. We’re very pleased with the outcome from our first hour of gameplay during the preview event and we’re also super excited for the Triple AAA masterpiece! If you’d like to know more, you can visit their official page or Facebook page for more details.
