New characters to be added to Tales of the Rays’ roster

Keeping their latest entry in the Tales of series up to date, Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new character PV for Tales of the Rays, which you might have guessed, adds new potential party members.

To be made available sometime in September 2017, the characters in question include Laphicet (Tales of Berseria), Emil Castagnier (Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World), and Kanonnno Earhart (Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2). Do note that this is only for the Japanese version of the game, though we expect the English version to have the update not long after.

To recap, this smartphone RPG has you filling in the shoes of protagonists Ix or Mileena, individuals who have descended from a bloodline of Mirrirsts and must journey to revive their world. Tales of the Rays promises to deliver the “classic Tales experience” familiar to fans, with its 3D Linear Motion Battle system where you will venture across various dungeons to do battle with an assortment of monsters. The game also boasts animations and skits that are a series trademark.
