Sunrise has announced Gundam World Contrast – a real world exhibition celebrating Gundam SEED as well as the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime.
The exhibition will be held in Nagoya, and will run from December 24th to January 16th, with advance sales having started this week.
Gundam World Contrast aims to compare and contrast Mobile Suit Gundam and Gundam Seed – two Gundam series with very passionate fanbases- to show the similarities between characters like Gundam pilot Amuro Ray and Kira Yamato.
From the website (Translated with DeepL):
The Story Wall is created from the perspective of Amuro Rei, the main character of “Mobile Suit Gundam”, and Kira Yamato, the main character of “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED”. The story of each work will be presented in four areas. There will be a spatial presentation that matches the theme of each area, a diorama exhibit that realistically represents famous scenes from each work, and an exhibit that combines 3D panels of Amuro Rei and Kira Yamato that were specially drawn for this event with video.
Aside from that, you’ll also be able to get various limited-edition model kits and other goods, including a specially colored two-kit of the RX 78-2 and Strike Gundam- signature mobile suits of Amuro Ray and Kira Yamato.
