The Pokémon GO team released news of update yesterday, fixing some minor bugs and confirming the new Buddy System in the new update! Niantic certainly has had a lot on their hands to work on, with the Pokémon GO Plus due to release this week, and software support on the Apple Watch, and now with these updates and the new Buddy System.
Wait no longer as the next update allows you to pick your Buddy Pokémon to follow you around. The feature has your Pokémon appear beside your avatar in pride, and when you walk a certain distance you’ll be able to earn Candy for them as well.
The update also fixes a few bugs and texts, the missing animations for eggs hatching, and making the selection of smaller Pokémon an easier task.
