Diablo Immortal File Size Includes More Than 5GB of Additional Downloads

Like many mobile games, Diablo Immortal doesn’t exactly have an honest file size with its additional asset downloads.

Of course, that’s not some kind of blemish against the game- lots of mobile games will require additional downloads, offsetting the download process instead of having one mega download, which is better for people on mobile data which can be limited.

The additional downloads are split up into all the different areas in the game- as well as item resources, such as effects from the new Gear Ascenscion and Cycle of Strife PvP mode.

Aside from the buy-in of the app’s regular size, these add ons will further bump up the Diablo Immortal file size by 5.9GB- almost 6GB of additional content for anyone who’s watching their phone storage space.

Not Unheard Of In Mobile Games

Of course, big install sizes aren’t unheard of. Every update, Honkai Impact 3rd gives you the option to download HD assets- easily in the multiple Gigabyte range as well for you to better enjoy the game.

Similarly, the game also had the option to do so with its interaction voicelines- the totally optional system where you could build a bond with your Valkyrie, earning you more affectionate voicelines. These could be left out of your main download, only triggering if you tried to use the system.
