Following a beta period, Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage has received its global launch date, set for 7 December 2021. A new video has been released, giving brief introductions to the characters you’ll be meeting in the game:
The developers have answered a few questions prior regarding the release, summarized as follows:
- No lyric subtitles
- Subtitles for Virtual Live interactions
- Gacha features from the Japanese release are not available at launch, but will be implemented as soon as possible
- No save transfer from Japanese release
- No additional language support planned at present
- Song release schedule will differ from Japanese release
- Global exclusive content is planned
- No story changes in localization, keeps Japanese dub, no plans for English dub
- All songs from Japanese release to be available in English release
- Font not planned to change
- Not all content from the Japanese channel will be localized, but global exclusive content is in the works
- 3DMVs will be available through the English Youtube channel
- Requests for songs could be fulfilled with licensing / rights pending

Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage will be available in over 130 countries and regions including North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Oceania on 7 December 2021.
