Granblue Fantasy x Gintama: Shonen Jump is Best Enjoyed Cover to Cover

As the Gintama and Granblue Fantasy collab approaches, the characters, summon and treasures you’ll be able to get in the event have finally be revealed! First of, here’s the story blurb:

An old soul who has faced unmeasurable misfortune finds his heart clouded with deluded ambition. With a terrible power that breaches dimensions, he summons to this world those who were living a newfound peace. Though a stranger to this world, will the silver-haired samurai be able to guide the man down the road of virtue once more?

The Shinsengumi duo, Toshiro Hijikata and Sogo Okita will be available in the first half of the event.

The Yorozuya trio, Gintoki Sakata, Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura will be available in the second half of the event starting 20 October.

Kotaro Katsura and Elizabeth burst into the scene as the event Wind-element summon, potentially available to put on the homescreen. The “Wooden Sword Lake Toya” rounds out the reveal, as the event Light-element weapon. Both the summon and the weapon will have a 4-star uncap for additional effects.

The elements for the playable cast has not been revealed, but the Shinsengumi are likely to be Wind (to match the summon) and the main trio be Light (to match the sword).

The Gintama cast will be making their way through the Granblue Fantasy skydom starting 15 October.
